Congenital Penile Curvature, Peyronie's Disease, and Erectile Dysfunction

Curved penis or bent penis conditions have become a relatively frequent finding due to a greater awareness of the problem among patients and physicians. Since the first surgical correction for penile curvature (either congenital or due to Peyronie's disease), many modifications have been implemented to overcome the disadvantages of the standard procedure and to improve functional results. Among the possible side effects of the original techniques are postoperative erectile dysfunction, the development of painful nodules at the suture sites, bulging defects (‘dog ears’), alteration of cutaneous sensibility and significant penile shortening.

Our techniques, developed by the ACPCT doctors, based on geometric principes represent the state-of-the art approach for the correction of Peyronie's disease (EGYDIO technique) and congenital curved penis (STAGE technique).

You can be assured – There is a solution to your problem. We have a commitment to excellence when it comes to the level of care we provide.

Congenital Penile Curvature

Patients born with a bent penis are found more and more frequently due to a greater awareness of the problem among patients and physicians. Since the first surgical correction for congenital penile curvature was performed, many modifications have been implemented to overcome the disadvantages of the standard procedure and to improve functional results.

Peyronie's Disease

An acquired curved penis condition- Peyronie's Disease-  is a connective tissue disorder involving the growth of fibrous plaques in the soft tissue of the penis affecting up to 10% of men. Specifically, scar tissue forms in the tunica albuginea, the thick sheath of tissue surrounding the corpora cavernosa causing pain, abnormal curvature, erectile dysfunction, indentation, loss of girth and shortening. Surgical correction is the only valid therapy option.

Erectile Dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is sexual dysfunction characterized by the inability to develop or maintain an erection of the penis during sexual performance. Erectile dysfunction treatment is indicated when an erection is difficult to produce. There are various circulatory causes. A thorough diagnostic check up is necessary to offer best medical treatment. ED is treatable and your potency ability can be enhanced significantly.
